PKA/PFA acquisition of a 50% stake in Walney Extension 659MW offshore wind farm

Overview:

• A consortium of PKA and PFA has acquired a 50% stake in the Walney Extension 659MW offshore wind farm from Ørsted, formerly known as DONG Energy.
• The acquirer consortium is made of two Danish pension funds. 
• The funding for the acquisition will come from an issue of non-recourse, investment grade certified green bonds.
• The wind farm is located off Cumbria's coast at Walney Island.
