Douglas Emmett $1.34 billion acquisition of an office portfolio

• Douglas Emmett, a real estate investment trust, has acquired four office buildings in West Los Angeles for $1.34 billion.
• The portfolio spanned 1,725,000 square feet. 
• Douglas Emmett formed a joint venture with Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) to provide equity capital to finance the acquisition. The joint venture received a $580 million loan.
