Merdeka Copper Gold IDX IPO

Overview:

• Merdeka Copper Gold has undertaken an IPO on the Indonesian Stock Exchange.
• Merdeka, a mining unit of investment firm Saratoga Group, sold 420 million shares raising Rp839 billion ($63 million).
• Merdeka Copper Gold was the first pre-operational mining company to be listed on the stock exchange after the issuance of IDX Regulation I.A-1, which permits mining companies to take out listings at the prospecting stage prior to the commencement of mining operations.
