Government of Indonesia $2 billion sukuk al wakala issue

Overview:

• The Government of Indonesia has issued a record equalling $2 billion sukuk al wakala, which was previously set by Qatar in 2012. 
• The 4.325% trust certificates are due 2025, and its order book is over $6.8 billion from 240 investors mostly in the Middle East and US. 
• The issuance is part of the $10 billion trust certificates issuance programme of the Republic of Indonesia.
