Statoil/Empresa Nicaraguense del Petroleo Nicaragua oil and gas concession

Overview:

• Statoil and Empresa Nicaraguense del Petroleo have received four concessions from Nicaragua to explore and exploit oil and gas deposits off of Nicaragua's coast.
• The area spans 16,000 square km.
• 85% of the equity will be owned by Statoil, and Empresa Nicaraguense del Petroleo  will own the rest.
• Arias & Muñoz (Gustavo-Adolfo Vargas, Ana Cecilia Chamorro) advised Statoil.
