Alfasigma €250 million financing

Overview:

• Alfasigma has taken out €250 million in new financing.
• BNP Paribas, Intesa Sanpaolo and Banca Nazionale del Lavoro acted as lenders.
• Alfasigma is a pharmaceutical company formed in 2015 from the merger of Alfa Wassermann and Sigma-Tau.
• The financing will be used for general corporate purposes.
• In January 2017 the company acquired Nestle's US medical foods business Pamlab.
