Overview:

  • Dar es Salaam-Chalinze toll road PPP.
  • The Tanzania National Roads Authority (TANROADS) is upgrading part of the Dar es Salaam to Morogoro trunk road to an toll expressway.
  • The first 50km of the 100km stretch will consist of a six lane road before reducing to a four lane road.
  • The road is key in terms of carrying freight from the post of Dar es Salaam.
