Serbia Broadband (SBB) acquisition of IKOM

Overview:

• Serbia Broadband (SBB) has acquired Interaktivne Kablovske Objedinjene Mreze (IKOM).
• IKOM is one of the largest cable TV, broadband internet, and telephone industry providers in Serbia.
• The identities of the sellers — three SPVs ultimately owned by three private individuals — were not disclosed.
• SBB is part of the United Group a Balkan TV, internet and mobile telecommunications provider with 1.7 million customers and are owned by private equity firm KKR since 2013.
