Geneva/Zurich, March 2026 – Schellenberg Wittmer is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Partners and one Counsel, enhancing the firm’s capabilities in White-Collar Crime and Employment Law.
Sara Rousselle-Ruffieux – Partner, Employment and International Mobility & Investment Migration
Sara has joined Schellenberg Wittmer as a Partner in the Geneva office, effective March 1, 2026. Sara is an accredited Labour Law Expert (SBA certificate) and brings extensive experience in individual and collective employment law, complex remuneration structures, cross-border employment matters, and global mobility. She regularly advises clients before administrative authorities and courts. Sara is a Board member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), former Vice-Chair of AROSDT (Association Romande des Spécialistes de Droit du Travail), and has served as a trainer and member of the exam jury for judges of the Geneva Labour Courts.

Dr. Roland Ryser – Partner, Dispute Resolution and White-Collar Crime and Compliance
Roland was appointed Partner in the Dispute Resolution and White-Collar Crime Groups in Zurich, effective January 1, 2026. Roland advises and represents individuals and corporate clients in complex regulatory and business crime matters. His work includes defending clients in complex investigations, assisting in mutual legal and administrative assistance proceedings, and advising on anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, and trade compliance matters (including sanctions and export control regulations). He also represents clients as private claimants in criminal proceedings, particularly in cases involving fraud, misappropriation, mismanagement, and money laundering. Roland is a frequent speaker and author on business crime and criminal procedure law and holds a PhD in Law in the field of corporate criminal liability from the University of Zurich.

Gabriela Svalduz – Counsel, White-Collar Crime and Compliance and Internal Corporate Investigations
Gabriela joined the Zurich office as Counsel on February 1, 2026. She is an experienced lawyer and a former public prosecutor and specializes in complex domestic and cross-border white-collar crime, asset recovery, internal investigations, and compliance, including DLT-related matters, blockchain and cybercrime. Gabriela regularly advises and represents clients as defendants or injured parties in court and before authorities and supports clients in preventing criminal liability. She holds Certificates of Advanced Studies (CAS) in forensics, economic criminal law, and finance and accounting, which strengthen her expertise.
