Fortum has signed an agreement to acquire the Swedish electricity solutions provider Telge Energi AB from Telge (i Södertälje) AB, for approximately SEK 450 million on a cash and debt free basis. Roschier acts for Fortum in the transaction.

Telge Energi is among the 10 largest clean electricity retailers in Sweden with a portfolio of approximately 150,000 customer contracts. The transaction is subject to clearance by the Swedish Competition Authority and approval by the municipal government and the local government council of the Södertälje municipality. The closing of the transaction is expected during the third quarter of 2023.
