Schulte Roth & Zabel (SRZ) has raided Paul Hastings for two new partners in its finance practice.
Michael Michetti and Joel Simon will both join the firm in New York.
Michetti focuses on leveraged acquisition finance, recapitalization, and going-private transactions. He frequently represents investment and commercial banks, as well as broker-dealers. Before SRZ, Michetti had been at Cahill Gordon & Reindel.
Simon has experience across a number of transaction types, including debt financing, high yield debt, IPOs, and M&A. He focuses on industries, including media, real estate, energy and biotechnology.
Michetti and Simon's move from Paul Hastings follows the March departure of finance partner Richard Farley who left for Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel.
