PwC Legal, the legal arm of Big Four accounting firm PwC, has opened its first Asia-Pacific office in Singapore with two lateral hires from Norton Rose Fulbright and Ashurst to build its cross-border regional transactions and projects practices.

Natalie Breen joins from Norton Rose Fulbright where she led the cross-border real estate practice; and Keith McGuire arrived from Ashurst where he was a corporate partner specialising in M&A and joint ventures. The new hires will be working with the firm's global legal services leader Leon Flavell who moved to Singapore in March 2016.

PwC Legal now has lawyers in over 85 countries. In Singapore, the firm brought in local firm Camford Law—alongside other domestic firms—to its PwC network two years ago, and will continue to work with these firms to complement its foreign law capability.
