Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman has added to its derivatives and structured products team with a partner hire from Morgan Lewis & Bockius.

Daniel Budofsky (an IFLR1000 Leading Lawyer) joins in New York and focuses on derivatives. He also advises clients on regulatory legislation such as the Volcker Rule and the Dodd-Frank Act, in addition to regulatory capital transactions, synthetic securitisations, equity derivatives, securities lending and repurchase transactions, and derivatives from every asset class.

Career highlights include representing the Asset Management Group of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association with regards to derivatives reform and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) in connection with drafting derivatives definitions.
