Gonzalez Calvillo (“GC”) announced today the appointment of Daniel Morán Salgado as partner and Paola Hernandez Villalvazo and Rosa Elena Coto García as Counsel with the firm. GC believes these appointments represent a testament of the deep commitment by the firm to continue its growth both organically and strategically across ranks, sectors, and practice areas.
Daniel Morán Salgado has been member of GC’s litigation group since 2005 and was promoted to Counsel in 2021. For the larger part of that time, Paola was part of Americas Mining Corporation (“AMC”), the mining division of Grupo Mexico, the country’s largest and most prominent mining company. During her tenure at Grupo Mexico, she held numerous high-profile positions including Deputy Director of Environmental and Health Legal Affairs, Corporate Environmental Affairs Director, and most recently Compliance Officer. Paola was also part of the Antidumping International department at Mexico’s Ministry of Economy.

As a transactional lawyer, Rosa Elena has applied her considerable expertise to advise in the drafting, negotiation, structuring and execution of numerous structures related to stock transactions, asset acquisitions, corporate restructures, capitalization procedures, spin-offs, mergers, acquisitions, co-investments, strategic alliances, and capital investment funds and trusts, among others.
“We are honored and delighted for these organic appointments.
