Jones Day has hired a new M&A partner in Singapore to strengthen its regional cross-border practice.

Elizabeth Cole joins the firm from Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe in Hong Kong where she was previously a partner in its emerging markets practice.

Cole has worked for more than 20 years throughout Asia-Pacific and is experienced in M&A and general corporate matters, particularly in the life sciences and information technology sectors, as well as employment law.

Her experience includes representing multinationals on the establishment, structuring, and operation of their businesses in Asia, including preparation of joint venture agreements, management contracts, employment contracts, workplace practices and policies, and technology transfer agreements.
