Helmy, Hamza & Partners, Baker McKenzie Cairo office, is pleased to announce the official launch of its inaugural internship program, Baker A+, an intensive two months long training scheme targeting law students that are graduating to the 4th year of their law degree study and have received excellent or very good academic grades. This initiative is designed with an aim to offer participating students the chance to develop a deeper understanding of their law knowledge and education while building practical skills that can be applied in their future careers.

The program will run during students’ summer vacation, from 1st August to 30th September 2021. During this period, each of the chosen trainee associates will receive two weeks of intensive technical training under the supervision of senior lawyers, followed by a period of job shadowing and the opportunity to work first hand at the various departments and practices of the firm on a rotating basis.

The primary components of the internship program include: introductory sessions to the firm’s different practice groups, substantive legal assignments, team-building projects, online trainings to Baker McKenzie’s internal systems and soft skills as well as court visits.

This programme is open to law students from any university in Egypt and the deadline to apply is 22 July 2021.
