DLA Piper has strengthened its corporate and capital markets teams with a partner hire as it continues to rebuild its Asia practice.

Melody He-Chen joins the firm from Morrison & Foerster in Hong Kong where she advised corporations and banks on M&A, private equity, finance and compliance matters.

She is also active in capital markets transactions and advises clients on their HKSE listings and dim sum bond issuances.

It’s barely a month into 2015 and DLA Piper has already started rebuilding. Last month the firm boosted its Singapore team with the hire of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher partner John Viverito and of counsel Myles Hankin. It also brought in Joseph Bauerschmidt from Jones Day.
