DLA Piper has hired four new partners in Dublin.

The new hires include finance lawyer and former head of banking and capital markets at Dillon Eustace, Conor Houlihan. Corporate partner Éanna Mellett was hired from Matheson, and two former A&L Goodbody partners, IP lawyer Mark Rasdale and employment lawyer Ciara Mcloughlin, have also been recuited.

These new hires are part of DLA Piper's plan to establish itself in the Irish market. The firm opened its Dublin office in 2018 after poaching former William Fry partner David Carthy.
