Putu Raditya Nugraha is the banking and finance, fintech, technology and financial services expert in UMBRA – Strategic Legal Solutions, having represented unicorns, major multinational financial institutions, technology companies, in some of the largest cross-border transactions in Indonesia covering project finance, debt restructuring, M&A of fintech, digital industry and financial institutions.

Most recently, Putu is awarded as the “Asia’s Top 15 TMT Lawyers” in Asian Legal Business 2023, “Leading Individual” for Banking & Finance practice in Legal 500 APAC 2025 and also awarded as the “Highly Regarded” for Banking, M&A practice in IFLR1000 2024, being the highest rated lawyer to work with by clients in Indonesian Banking & Finance deals.

His academic training and experience in international tax structuring and expertise in Indonesian contract law allows him to provide cross- disciplinary perspective in dealing with complex M&A transactions. • Representing PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, Tbk (BSI), the largest syariah bank in Indonesia, in providing an IDR750,000,000,000 USD50,473,275,00 facility under the Islamic banking Musyarakah structure, to PT Medco Power Indonesia, in relation to the financing of its renewable energy project. “IFN Project & Infrastructure Finance Law Firm of the Year – 2022”.
• Assisting an international development agency in providing advisory for the financing of Ijen geothermal power plant development in Ijen, East Java. Our role includes providing legal advice to the lender, conducting due diligence of the borrower, and preparing the financing documents.
• Representing Loka Holdings and its affiliates in obtaining USD300,000,000 in financing, provided by a syndication of prominent foreign and local financial institutions, including INA, BlackRock, Allianz Global Investors, and Orion Capital Asia.
• Assisting PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur in the financing of Banyang Nyalo Mini Hydro Power Plant located in West Sumatera (2 x 3MW) located in West Sumatera.
• Representing PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC) in the USD1.85 billion project financing for the Development of Jambaran – Tiung Biru Unitized Field Gas Project, one of the largest project financing transactions closed in 2019. This is one of the Indonesian Government's national strategic projects and the first of its kind hybrid conventional and Shari'a project financing using a Trustee Borrowing Scheme. “Deal of The Year – Asian-mena Counsel Deals of the Year”, Asia-Pacific Oil and Gas Deal of the Year award in the 2019 Project Finance International (PFI) Awards”.
