Daniel Hasler heads Homburger’s Corporate / M&A team. He is a corporate law specialist with wide experience in advising listed and non-listed companies in different industries in complex corporate law and securities regulation matters. Daniel Hasler focuses on M&A, private equity, capital markets and real estate transactions. 

Daniel Hasler studied law at the University of Bern, from which he graduated in 2001 and received a doctorate (summa cum laude) in 2006. In 2003 he was admitted to the bar in Switzerland and in 2010 to the bar in New York. In 2009 he graduated with a Master of Law (LL.M) from University of California, Berkeley.

  • Homburger advised Landis+Gyr on the divestment of its EMEA business to AURELIUS;
  • Homburger advised OC Oerlikon on the divestment of its Barmag textile machinery business for manmade fibers to Rieter Homburger advised Swiss Prime Site AG on the placement of 2.9 m shares via an accelerated bookbuilt offering, raising gross proceeds of CHF 300 m.;
  • Advised KMPG Switzerland on its merger with KPMG UK;
  • Counsel to Vencora UK Limited, an indirect subsidiary of Volaris Group Inc. and Constellation Software Inc., with respect to its public tender offer for all publicly held shares of Crealogix Holding AG.
