Yonghong Zhan

Ms. Yonghong Zhan is a corporate partner in Guantao's real estate group. She is mainly engaged in real estate and construction, project development, corporate and M&A, litigation and arbitration. Ms. Zhan is specialized in organizing the complex transactions, investment, operation and management of large comprehensive projects, and has rich experience in providing transaction structure demonstration, transaction scheme design, transaction risk control, transaction procedure arrangement and management, coordinating multi-professional lawyers and the professionals to work together. In terms of litigation and arbitration, Ms. Zhan has an outstanding capability of representing clients in disputes over land, cooperative development and bulk property sales and purchases. Based on her experience in real estate and construction as well as project development, she has been ranked many times by those famous rating agencies, such as The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, IFLR1000. In 2021, Ms. Zhan was honored as “IFLR1000 Woman Leaders” by IFLR 1000, and in the same year, she was awarded as “Real Estate & Construction Lawyer of the year” by China Law & Practice.

Guantao has recently planned to open new training programmes in a number of offices in the hope of providing more support to young female staff. These programmes aim to help female staff  broaden their social networks, build their confidence and tackle challenges at different stages of their careers.

• Jinke Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. intends to purchase the equity project of Xiexin Group Company (the acquisition target exceeds 10 billion);
• China Railway Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd.'s acquisition of shares in Evergrande Real Estate (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (trading at 4.86 billion);
• China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. Beijing Branch to bankruptcy reorganization and debt restructuring of Beijing Taifeng Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. creditor's rights to activate (the target is about 2 billion);
• Advising Great Wall Life Insurance Co., Ltd. in bidding for Beijing Xinruiju Property Services Co., Ltd. ‘s 49% equity project.
