Yaniv Kleitman

Yaniv began his career as a candidate attorney at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr and was appointed as an associate in January 2009. He was promoted to senior associate in January 2011. In 2015 Yaniv was appointed as a director.

Part of the team, and provided technical advice on the following matters:

• Distell group's restructuring involving Remgro, RCI and Capevin (2017, R8.1 billion);
• The demerger of Steinhoff International and Steinhoff Africa Retail (STAR) and the listing of STAR on the JSE (2017, R74 billion);
• The Vodacom Group and YeboYethu B-BBEE transaction restructuring (2018, R17.5 billion);
• Ascendis Health's acquisition of Remedica and Scitec (2016, R7.3 billion);
• The merger of NEPI and Rockcastle property companies (2017, R85 billion).
