Stefan Blunschi

Stefan Blunschi is a partner in the Corporate / M&A team at Homburger and specializes in mergers & acquisitions. He advises listed and private companies in a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including buy-side and sell-side private M&A processes, public takeovers and private equity investments. Alongside his M&A work, Stefan’s practice also encompasses corporate law, securities regulation and equity capital markets transactions, as well as sports law.

• Counsel to Clariant on the divestment of its global Pigments business to a consortium of Heubach Group and SK Capital Partners, and on its rollover to retain a 20% stake in the new holding company

• Counsel to Johnson & Johnson in its USD 30 billion public takeover of Actelion
• Counsel to Qubit Investments on the sale of a majority shareholding in the ETH Zurich spin-off
  Flisom, a developer and manufacturer of photovoltaic thin-film solar modules, to FL1 Holding
• Counsel to Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and TCV in their acquisition of a significant stake in Sportradar, the global leader in the provision of sports data, at an enterprise value of EUR 2.1 billion
• Counsel to Infront, a leading international sports marketing company, on its acquisition of Youthstream, which manages, among others, the exclusive and global television, marketing and promotional rights of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship which is considered the world’s most renowned off-road motorsport event series
• Counsel to MCH Group, a leading international live-marketing company with a comprehensive services network spanning the entire exhibition and event market, on its rights offering.
