Siobhan Carlin is a Partner in Denton's Banking & Finance Department. Siobhan has particular experience advising on real estate (investment and development) finance and project finance transactions where her clients include financial institutions, alternative lenders, sponsors, private equity houses, institutional investors and semi-state entities. Siobhan has also advised extensively on financings to funds including ICAVs and other forms of QIAIFs. In addition she has significant experience acting on domestic and cross-border corporate lending transactions and debt restructurings and has advised on a number of loan portfolio acquisitions and financings. Prior to joining William Fry Siobhan worked for 7 years in the London office of Linklaters.

  • Advised Orange Capital Partners on its funding arrangements for the acquisition of the Belgrave Portfolios of residential assets
  • Advised the purchaser on the acquisition, structuring and financing of the Project Redwood loan portfolio from Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c
  • Advised a syndicate of lenders on facilities made available to RTÉ Transmission Networks Limited;
  • Advised Glanbia Co-operative Society on the establishment of the Milk Flex Fund in conjunction with the Irish Strategic Investment Fund and Rabobank for the purpose of offering loans to dairy farmers and Glanbia Ireland on the establishment of the Twenty20 Beef Club in conjunction with Finance Ireland and Kepak
