Her achievements include project financing for the 1,320MW large capacity Tanjung Jati B power plant and its expansions, major land acquisitions for infrastructure and mining projects, and highly sensitive mass terminations of employees. Makarim & Taira S. has also been working with the Indonesian Down’s Syndrome Association (ISDI) in in various initiatives and become a world Down’s Syndrome advocate. One of the programs that was conducted successfully before the pandemic was an internship program, in which Makarim & Taira S. hired young people with Down’s Syndrome to work at the firm.
