Mr. Metodi Baykushev is a partner at Dimitrov, Petrov & Co, Head of the Litigation & Arbitration and Public Procurement Practice Groups. His practice focuses on dispute resolution (arbitration, litigation, insolvency and debt collection, public procurement review procedures). Mr Baykushev is also experienced in advising on international construction contracts. He is also an expert in Commercial and Corporate Law as he has worked on a number of M&A projects.

• Provided expert legal assistance to Corporate Commercial Bank in the much publicized precedent case of placing it under special supervision. Completed the full and thorough legal analysis of more than 95% of its EUR 2.9 billion credit portfolio of the bank;

• Led the team that provided full legal services regarding the change in the ownership structure of a major Bulgarian economic group (Mareshki Group of Companies) operating in a specific market segment regulated by law and consists of numerous separate legal entities;

• Leads the team in collection of commercial debts from more than 200 debtors amounting approx. EUR 20 mln, including through insolvency procedures against five debtors of Hygia AD.
