Landry Subira

Landry Subira is an associate at ENSafrica Rwanda specializing in banking and finance regulatory, fintech and payment services, real estate, data privacy and protection and general corporate commercial work. He has acted for local and international clients in a variety of industries, including developmental finance institutions, private equity companies, mining companies, energy companies and governmental entities in both investing in and exiting Rwanda.

He has assisted international banks with corporate structuring, advising on a range of different debt and capital markets products, as well as structuring of local law security packages. Landry has also assisted in several corporate and commercial matters, including, but not limited to mergers and acquisitions in regulated industries such as telecommunication, pharmaceutical and aviation. As well as carrying out high level and in-depth due diligence exercises on targets, he has advised on antitrust/competition law, tax, intellectual property aspects of the transactions.

Landry is a payments lawyer as well and has helped several different financial technology companies establish in Rwanda, such as payment services providers, payment aggregators and e-money issuers as well as assisting clients with data privacy and protection advice.
