Humberto’s practice is focused on the areas of banking and finance, project finance, insurance and M&A transactions. Humberto has advised lenders and borrowers in financing transactions across a wide range of industries and sectors, including, financial services, general manufacturing, energy, mining, retail, steel, technology, telecommunications, and transportation. He has also actively participate in infrastructure financings related with airports, ports oil and energy industries. He has extensive experience in the representation of foreign financial institutions, insurance companies and foreign investors, encompassing the structuring and negotiating of domestic and international financial transactions, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and financial restructurings, strategic associations and joint ventures, and infrastructure projects. Humberto is member of the Board of Directors of an insurance company and the chairman of the Audit Committee of said insurance company and is also a board member of banking institution.
