Hellen Nakiryowa

Hellen is a Partner at the firm. She has received formal legal education from Uganda and the United Kingdom. She possess a wealth of experience in banking and finance law. She is also a regular panellist and presenter at both the Loan Markets Association and Uganda Law Society. 

• Advised European Investment Bank, Cordiant and Allianz EM Loans as lenders in respect of multiple facilities of US$ 23 million to Bandwidth and Cloud Services Group Holdings and its subsidiaries across five jurisdictions in Africa.
• Advised The Standard Bank of South Africa, Isle of Man Branch and Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited in respect of a facility of US$ 115 million to Eaton Towers Limited, a leading telecom tower company that is guaranteed by Eaton Towers Uganda Limited, the borrower’s subsidiary in Uganda.
• Advised Rabobank in respect of an uncommitted trade finance facility to Mount Meru Millers group of companies including a subsidiary in Uganda.
