Fintan regularly advises international and domestic clients on aircraft leasing and shipping matters and secured financing transactions in Ireland. Fintan has particular experience advising international clients on their Irish aircraft leasing platforms, including advising on initial set up, corporate structure, corporate governance, bond issues and ongoing aircraft leasing transactions.

• Acted for the largest group of creditors to Nordic Aviation Capital group on US Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection process and the provision of a debtor-in-possession facility.
• Advised Apollo Global Management on the provision of a US$700m debtor-in-possession facility to SAS – Scandinavian Airlines as part of the airline’s Chapter 11 restructuring.
• Advised Arena Aviation Capital on the establishment of its $1.5 billion aircraft leasing joint venture with Kennedy Lewis.
