Evangelina joined the firm in 2002. She works comprehensively as a leader and lawyer with extensive knowledge in legal matters, who has worked in the private practice of her profession for more than 40 years, guaranteeing precise and suitable for your clients.

Evangelina has led teams in different practice areas and has participated in multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions and in highly important financing projects in Honduras and Central America, with the participation of various sectors. He has advised several national and international companies, banks and insurance companies, energy, services, food, telecommunications, free zones and is a member of several boards of directors for Arias clients.

Other areas of practice include her participation as legal advisor in the structuring, financing and sale of renewable energy projects with financing from international banks. He has also successfully provided tax advice on complex operations, both local and international operations.

  • Evangelina advised a non-local lender that provided a loan of up to $85 million through a syndicated term facility agreement to a borrower group with subsidiaries in multiple countries.
  • Assisted the sellers of Financiera Finca Honduras “FINCA” in the sale process of their shareholding from a local law perspective, meticulously preparing all the necessary documentation for FINCA Honduras.
  • Evangelina and her team advised in the acquisition of a group companies dedicated to specialized chemical products manufactured in Honduras. ARIAS provided the client with an analysis of the local legal landscape regarding corporate, environmental, and tax matters, and assisted in the preparation of transactional agreements from the perspective of local law. Additionally, the ARIAS Honduras team worked closely with environmental consultants to examine the regulatory and environmental aspects of the transaction.
