Denis van den Bulke

Denis Van den Bulke is founding and managing partner of VANDENBULKE a high-level specialized Corporate Finance law firm established in 2005 in Luxembourg. He led a career both in international finance first as a banker and financial expert, before establishing in 1995 the M&A/corporate continental plaform of US Dorsey firm in Brussels. He has advised most of the world-leading players in international finance.His twin background -in finance and law- made of him one of the most accomplished lawyer in the field of M&A and corporate finance in Luxembourg.  He advised the PE and Investment fund industry and was one of the first Directors of the Luxembourg association of investment fund in 1992.

• He acted as counsel for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and one of the leading Slovenian banks to advise and structure a dual financing sponsored by one of the largest private equity management firm in Europe, 
• He assisted a US Food group with a  USD 935,000,000 unsecured term loan, granted by, amongst others, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, in relation to (the acquisition of global merchandiser and processor of special crops, pulses, and associated healthy, specialty food ingredients,
• He acted as legal advisor for a Japanese investment bank, in relation to the restructuring and the acquisition of an existing real estate Luxembourg fund and provided the legal and regulatory support sought in relation to the transformation of the fund into a Hedging fund with launch of three new sub-funds.
• He advised the bridging of a GBP 3.5 Billion loan in respect of a publicly quoted Malaysian Joint venture, for the development and construction of a real estate project in Canary Wharf London, called the Embassies.
