Aurélie was an associate at the Paris office of Ashurst LLP before joining the Paris office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.

She has been exposed to a wide variety of corporate transactions, especially in member countries of the Organization for the Harmonization of Business Law (OHADA) in Africa.

She was a lecturer in Banking law at the Cergy Pontoise University in France from 2012 to 2013.

 

  • The State of Cameroon's Eurobond through an international bond issue, the redemption of an existing Eurobond and the early unwinding of a foreign exchange hedge for a final amount of CFAF 450 billion (2021);
  • The refinancing of the EOCG 6,5% net 2016-2021 bond issued by the State of Congo (Brazzaville) on the CEMAC financial markets through an issue of assimilable treasury bonds (OTAs) on the CEMAC money market;
  • The refinancing (150 million EUR) by a consortium of banks of several subsidiaries of the SOLEVO Group;
  • The Financing and refinancing (6.4 billion CFAF) of the construction of two Carrefour malls in Yaoundé and Douala;
  • The bond issuance (200 billion CFAF) of the Republic of Cameroon.
