Andrew van Niekerk

Andrew van Niekerk is a Director in CDH's Corporate & Commercial practice, and Head of our Projects & Infrastructure sector. Andrew provides specialist EPC / PPP / IPP related legal services in the infrastructure, energy, mining and resources, transport and real estate domains.  

• Advised Exxaro Resources Limited as sponsor counsel in respect of the Lephalale photovoltaic ("PV") project.
• Advised Belulane Gas Company (BGC) as sponsor counsel in respect an LNG import, regasification and pipeline transmission project in Mozambique;
• Advised Atlantica Yield plc in respect of transfer of the O&M Agreement and operational personnel for the KaXu CSP Project as part of its acquisition of Abengoa’s shares in KaXu CSP Project.
• Advised Ncondezi (Pty) Ltd in respect of an integrated mine and coal fired power plant project.
• Advised Calculus (Pty) Ltd in respect of an integrated process plant and power plant project in Namibia.
