Adelina Barahona Gonzalez

Adelina Barahona joined the firm in 2015. She works on the shipping, aquaculture and corporate areas of the firm, serving the needs of clients affected by a highly-technical, industry-specific and ever increasing business regulations.

Ms. Barahona is noted for her in-depth knowledge of the laws regulating companies that do business in Ecuador and for her experience and skills in dealing and solving negotiations, contracts and disputes with public agencies.

Participated on a coastal land purchase, purchase of a pedestrian area that belongs to the Municipality of Guayaquil to combine the coastal land lots and build a 140 m fishing port. The company wants to build this port in order to receive large fishing vessels. This business involves a foreign investment of US$ 2 million.

Participated on foreign investment agreements with the State of Ecuador to benefit from a number of tax incentives.
