Having been active in the market for 25 years, the firm has been an active player in Mozambique's legislative evolution. Part of the firm's ethos is to train new lawyers to ensure the country's lawyers are adequately trained, and in order to achieve this SAL & Caldeira Advogados, Lda hires law graduates as interns on an annual basis.

• SAL & Caldeira Advogados, Lda is organized into seven Practice Groups (“PG’s”) namely: Commercial, Regulatory & Public Institutions; Finance, Banking & Insurance; Immigration & NGOs; Labour; Litigation & Dispute Resolution; Projects, Energy & Infrastructure; and Tax. Each PG is led by a Head of Practice, who is either a Partner or a Manager. Each PG consists of senior consultants, consultants, junior consultants, and interns who rotate amongst the PG. They are supported by administrative staff which includes sworn translators. SAL & Caldeira Advogados, Lda is a medium-sized company with a total of 74 employees (including 2 interns), of whom 32 are lawyers admitted to the Mozambican Bar Association.
