Recent transactional highlights:

  • Advised First Myanmar Investment Co., Ltd. on the historic first listing on the Yangon Stock Exchange;
  • Advised on the sale of NCell (the market-leading Nepalese telecommunication operator) by TeliaSonera to Axiata, at an enterprise value of US$1.37 billion;
  • Advised on a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Ministry of Electric Power of Myanmar to invest in and develop a 225 MW gas-fired power plant in Myingyan, central Myanmar. The $300 million power plant, financed under a Build-Operate-Transfer structure, will be the largest gas-fired power plant in Myanmar.
