Overview:

  • Norwegian group Visma has acquired Danish IT company Bluegarden from Marlin Equity Partners for an undisclosed amount.
  • Marlin had bought Bluegarden for NKr320 million just 18 months previously. It was reported in the Danish press that the sale price exceeded NKr1 billion, though no official figure has been given.
  • Bluegarden creates payroll systems software such as Dataløn and MultiLøn and has more than 550 employees.
  • Visma is a provider of business software and other technology solutions. This was the second significant acquisition by the company of a Danish IT group in recent years following the purchase of e-conomic international in 2015.
