Grupo Modelo/Iberdrola $350 million PPA

Overview:

• Grupo Modelo, a Mexican brewery owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, has signed a PPA (power purchase agreement) with Iberdrola México.
• Under the agreement, Iberdrola will supply 490GW an hour to Grupo Modelo from its wind farms in Puebla, México.
• The contract begins in 2019 and will last for 15 years.
• Anheuser-Busch InBev has pledged to generate 100% of its electricity from renewable energy sources by 2025.
