EIB establishment of €150 million JESSICA II fund

Overview:

• The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed an agreement to establish the Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas (JESSICA) II fund.
• The total fund value is €150 million.
• Proceeds from the fund are intended to be used to continue the work of the initial JESSICA fund established in 2009, which was to finance the renovation of multi-apartment buildings in Lithuania to improve energy efficiency.
