PerkinElmer acquisition of Tulip Diagnostics

Overview:

• PerkinElmer (PKI) has acquired Tulip Diagnostics from the Tulip Group for an undisclosed amount. 
• Tulip Diagnostics is an in vitro diagnostics company.
• As part of the deal, assets of five partnerships and the shares of a group company have been acquired by Tulip Diagnostics financed by a bridge loan taken out by PKI.
• PKI acquired the shares of Tulip Diagnostics through a Luxembourg entity.
• 7i Capital advised Tulip Diagnostics.
