Overview:
- Trilini Energy. has acquired a 51.4% shareholding in Eesti Gaas, the Estonian main natural gas import, sales and distribution company, from Finnish energy company Fortum.
- Trilini Energy also made purchase offers to Gazprom, who owns 37% of Eesti Gaas, and to Itera Latvija, which holds 10%, while the minority shareholders hold 1.57% of the shares in Eesti Gaas combined.
- Fortum is to make €12 million profit before taxes from the transaction.
