Overview:

  • Bank Muscat has undertaken a $500 million issue of notes under its EMTN programme.
  • The 3.750% notes are due in 2021 and issued on the Irish Stock Exchange.
  • Arab Banking Corporation, Bank Muscat, Citigroup, Crédit Agricole, HSBC, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Standard Chartered acted as joint lead managers.
  • The issuer also renewed its EMTN programme increasing it from $800 million to $2 billion.
