Overview:

  • Multinational holding company Berkshire Hathaway has undertaken a $2.4 billion debt offering.
  • The offering consisted of €1.1 billion of fixed rate notes (€550 million 0.25% senior notes due in 2021 and €550 million 0.625% senior notes due in 2023) and $1.3 billion of floating rate notes. 
  • The underwriters were Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Wells Fargo Securities.
