Overview:

  • Romania has undertaken two issues of sovereign bonds with a combined value of €2 billion.
  • The issue consists of one tranche of €1.25 billion notes due 2015 and one tranche of €750 million notes due 2035, both issued under the country's MTN programme.
  • Citigroup, HSBC Bank, Raiffeisen Bank and UniCredit acted as joint lead managers.
