Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm refinancing

Overview:

• Beatrice Offshore Windfarm, owner of the eponymous 588MW offshore wind farm, has refinanced its senior debt.
• The lending consortium comprises 29 commercial and institutional lenders and 24 hedging banks.
• The farm consists of 84 turbines and is located 13km off the coast in the Moray Firth in Scotland. Annually it generates enough power for 450,000 homes.
• The sponsors are SSE Renewables (40%), Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (35%) and Red Rock Power (25%).
