E & J Gallo Winery $1.7 billion acquisition of brands from Constellation Brands

Overview:

• E&J Gallo Winery has acquired a number of wine and spirits brands from Constellation Brands in a $1.7 billion deal. 
• Consisting of more than 30 brands and six winemaking facilities, the acquired brands include Ravenswood, Estancia, Mark West and Clos du Bois.  
• The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020.
