Autopista Al Mar 1 

  • The Autopista Al Mar 1 will contain 176 kilometers of roads in Antioquia, Colombia.
  • This project is part of the country's 4G (fourth generation) infrastructure program, a program to develop roads in the country. 
  • The road obtained financing in the form of a 15-year loan divided into six tranches including one dollar-denominated tranche for $220 million, four peso-denominated tranches collectively worth COP1.36 trillion ($428.4 million), and one UVR-denominated tranche worth COP190 billion ($59.8 million).
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH, Société Generale acted as senior lenders for the dollar denominated tranche. 
  • Inter-American Investment Corporation, Inter-American Investment Corporation (as agent acting on behalf of the Inter-American Development Bank), Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional, Instituto de Crédito Oficial,  Corporación Andina de Fomento acted as senior lenders for the peso denominated tranches.
  •  BlackRock acted as a senior lender for the UVR denominated tranche.
