Sumitomo €400 million acquisition of Q-Park Nordics

Overview:

• Japanese trading house Sumitomo Corporation has agreed to buy Q-Park Nordics, the largest Nordic parking lot operator, from US investment fund Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR).
• Q-Park Nordics is the largest provider of parking facilities in Finland, Norway and Sweden and has approximately 20% market share in the three countries, where it operates about 370,000 parking lots.
