Blackstone $820 million investment in NCR

Overview:

• Blackstone has invested $820 million in NCR Corporation.
• The investment took the form of perpetual convertible shares and gave Blackstone a 17% share in NCR. 
• NCR will use the proceeds of this investment to finance a repurchase of up to $1 billion of its common stock. 
• JP Morgan, Atlas Strategic Advisors and BofA Merrill Lynch acted as placement agents and financial advisors to NCR.
• Citi, Goldman Sachs and RBC Capital Markets acted as financial advisors to Blackstone.
